Inside Alzheimer’s is an architectural proposal stemming from my personal experience with the illness. Located in Lewis Cubitt Park, King’s Cross, this project is a collaboration between the Alzheimer’s Society and the Francis Crick Institute. It is divided into two main spaces: an anxiogenic and destabilising immersive exhibition space that evokes the evolution of the disease, and a care space for patients with less advanced symptoms, destined to create calm and serenity thanks to the soothing nature of light and music. The aim of this project is to create public awareness of the disease by appealing to the visitor's senses.
Inside Alzheimer's est un projet inspiré de mon expérience personnelle de la maladie. Situé dans le parc Lewis Cubitt, à King's Cross, ce projet est une collaboration entre Alzheimer's Society et le Francis Crick Institut. Il est composé deux espaces principaux : un espace d'exposition immersif anxiogène et déstabilisant qui évoque l'évolution de la maladie, et un espace de soins pour les patients aux symptômes légers, destiné à créer calme et sérénité grâce au caractère apaisant de la lumière et de la musique. L'objectif de ce projet est de sensibiliser le public à la maladie en faisant appel aux sens du visiteur.
